Chad Gallinat is Open Innovation Director at Conservation X Labs, where he designs and leads global innovation initiatives to accelerate breakthrough solutions for climate, biodiversity, and planetary health. Working across entrepreneurs, scientists, corporations, governments, and funders, he helps build the platforms and partnerships needed to move bold ideas from early promise to real-world impact.

Since joining CXL in 2018, Chad has helped shape major challenges and innovation programs including the Global Cooling Prize, Con X Tech Prize: The Amazon, and the Fire Grand Challenge. With a background spanning scientific research, technology development, and international energy policy, his work is driven by a simple belief: the world needs better systems for finding, testing, and scaling the solutions that nature and society can no longer wait for.
