Dr. Kiran Dhillon is the Executive Director of the Cancer Vaccine Institute at the University of Washington, where she provides senior leadership across scientific strategy, research operations, and donor engagement to accelerate next-generation cancer vaccines. She earned her PhD in Genetics from the University of Washington and brings a deep commitment to translating scientific discovery into meaningful impact for patients.
She leads cross-functional alignment among scientists, clinicians, regulatory experts, and administrative partners to advance CVI’s research pipeline and partnerships. Before joining CVI, she directed scientific programs at the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer, overseeing an international research grants portfolio, global scientific symposia, and the organization’s scientific communications strategy. She also represents the CVI in external scientific, philanthropic, and community forums, elevating the Institute’s profile and building the interest, partnerships, and momentum that help turn bold ideas into measurable progress for patients.
